Our Forged Rolling Rings Production Process

We implement a precise forging and ring-rolling process to manufacture seamless, high-strength rings with exceptional dimensional accuracy and mechanical performance.

Material Cutting & Piercing
Round billets are cut to size, and a center hole is punched to form a basic preform.
The preform is uniformly heated in a furnace to the optimal forging range of 1100–1250°C.
The heated billet is upset on an open-die press to achieve the target wall thickness.
The blank is pierced to form a stress-relieved, donut-shaped ring preform.
The donut is rolled between mandrel and idler rolls to expand it to the precise outer diameter.
Axial rolls are adjusted to maintain uniform height and wall thickness during rolling.
The ring is air-cooled and visually inspected to identify any surface defects before machining.
Machining of ring faces, bores, and key surfaces is performed to meet exact tolerances.
Dimensional checks and NDT are carried out, followed by tagging and secure packaging for shipment.

Marine
Forged rolled rings ensure long-lasting durability in ship propulsion systems, offshore platforms, and deep-sea equipment exposed to harsh saltwater environments.
Utilized in missile housings, gun barrels, and other defense hardware requiring high strength, precision machining, and resistance to impact and extreme temperatures.
Ideal for high-pressure reactors, heat exchangers, and compressors operating in corrosive and high-temperature conditions within oil and gas processing facilities.
Applied in crushers, excavators, and drilling machines where rugged components are needed to withstand heavy mechanical loads and continuous operation in abrasive conditions.
Used in reactor pressure vessels and containment systems requiring exceptional strength, thermal stability, and resistance to radiation and corrosive media.
Essential for turbines and generators, forged rings deliver high fatigue resistance and dimensional stability under fluctuating thermal and mechanical stresses.
Critical for turbines and sealing components, forged rings offer excellent structural integrity and corrosion resistance in high-moisture, high-pressure water flow environments.
